Do you want to tell your story of sexual harassment or assault?

Please email me your story, indicate if you want it kept confidential or if you are interested in speaking our publicly. I will forward it to my friend Academy Award Nominated Documentary filmmaker Amy Ziering,

I've copied the Hollywood Reporter announcement of her upcoming documentary here:

'Hunting Ground' Filmmakers Tackling Hollywood Sexual Assault Documentary

'The Hunting Ground' was distributed by The Weinstein Co.

Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering, whose last documentary The Hunting Ground focused on sexual assault on college campuses, announced today that their next film, currently titled The Untitled Sexual Assault Documentary.

Predators in Hollywood, many described as being similar to Harvey Weinstein, will be the focus of the doc, which will examine abuse and cover-ups within the entertainment industry.

"Documentaries, more than any other medium, bring an intensely moving investigative lens to controversial subject matter," said Kirby Dick. "What our film will capture, especially at this pivotal turning point in Hollywood history, is the underlying current of abuse and manipulation at the hands of power. Our film will also underscore the courage it takes to come forward and be a catalyst for change.”

Ziering says that they have been developing the doc for some time but had trouble securing distributors or financiers that feared retaliation. "Then the Weinstein stories broke, and it's like an invisible dam collapsed," says the filmmaker. The feature is now being financed by Impact Partners.

The Weinstein Co.'s Radius division distributed The Hunting Ground. In a recent guest column for The Hollywood Reporter, the filmmakers called for Weinstein's expulsion from The Academy. The movie mogul was expelled two days later.
