Better TV Segment.

Hi there, and welcome to RockYourLifeCoaching. My dream is to inspire you to live your juiciest, most vibrant life and be the most shining version of yourself.

First dream big – seriously.  So take that dream you just thought of, and multiply it – now we’re talking!

Big, broad dreams can be overwhelming, so I offer you 3 simple steps that you can apply to any goal:

Take mini-steps – break it down to manageable pieces that will keep you moving forward.

Make It FUN – enjoy the process rather than focusing on the outcome. Concentrate on bringing a joyful spirit  and playfulness to each step.

Recommit everyday. Don’t think about tomorrow, next week, or next month. Start the day with a passionate, heartfelt commitment. Remind yourself out loud or in writing what your intentions are for today and what parts of your personality you want to bring forward. Create an affirmation, a positive statement, that will keep you on track throughout the day.

The Better TV segment focused on 4 topics. Let’s take another look:

DEBT MANAGEMENT: I’m not a money manager, but I can tell you that  many people don’t know how much money they bring in and how much they spend. Start by getting organized and very, very clear.

If cut backs are necessary, focus on what your life will be like not only debt free but living with abundance: peaceful, stress free, able to contribute financially to charities, able to travel, pay for college, etc. Make a mini-collage of all these things and keep it in your checkbook so that you’ll be reminded of your new life whenever you pay a bill.

Powerful questions: Do you have a job you love? If not, what’s getting in the way? Do you feel stuck? Do you believe that other people are lucky in work but not you? What would it be like to make a living do something that fulfills you?

Affirmations:

I attract abundance.
I am a magnet for meaningful and lucrative job opportunities.

FITNESS

Explore new ways to exercise. What I’ve learned from my celebrity clients is that when the gym gets to be a grind, don’t put your fitness on hold: play! This is a fun one especially if you have kids. Play basketball, soccer, and other sports. Do a kid’s dance or karate video. Ask your kids to be your personal trainer. And put yourself on your schedule for this one. We all make time for everything else – this is an area where we have to say yes to our own well-being.

Powerful questions: What does it mean to you to be fit? What does being out of shape cost you?

Affirmations:

I matter.
I exercise with joy and ease.
I feel alive, vibrant, and fit and I love my body.

HEALTHY EATING:  We all want to eat healthy but for some of us it feels like it’s an overwhelming challenge. Think mini steps! Add one new vegetable to your usual dinner. Ask a friend for a simple, low-fat recipe. Just for today, say no to decadent chocolates and put a Splenda in your mocha.

Just for today, are you willing to make a change? If not, what’s getting in the way?

Affirmations:

I make healthy choices that support who I want to be.
I’m energetic, fit and gorgeous!

RELATIONSHIPS:

We all want to spend more time with our friends and family but  if long evenings out are out of the question, you can still nurture these relationships by scheduling mini-get-togethers. Meet for a 20 minute coffee date. Meet up at the market and do grocery shopping together. Arrive early in the carpool lane for a short chat.

What will it cost you to not nurture meaningful relationships?
Who is really important to you?

Affirmations:

My life is filled with people I love.
Meaningful relationships inspire me.
